COMMUNITY & SERVICE - ACTION, SAA, CAS

“An unexamined life is not worth living” - Socrates

Being human is first about choices that sustain people and the environment. Neev service program sits at the heart of the school’s work and culture. Service leads to self-discovery and rises from self-awareness. Service is embedded in our learning journeys, through deep reading and reflection and initiatives in school. Exposure to service models grows knowledge and reflection leads to individual choices of projects. Students explore initiatives early, build awareness, and eventually choose perseverance projects where they create change in an issue they deeply care about.

CAS exposure through learning journeys includes working at the Druk Pa school in Ladakh, working in rural Maharashtra with DBMGF, visiting the Barefoot College, Hunarshala in Bhuj. Traditional handicraft conservationists in diverse Indian cities and villages from Gujarat, to Rajasthan, to the North east, share their aspirations with our students, leading us to question our own identities and what we truly care about.

IB programmes provide a unique opportunity of socio-emotional development:
