Beyond Academics Clubs

Skill-building is a continuous process. Clubs are one of the ways where students build their skills in the subject they are interested in and make a choice. All learning of a club is celebrated at the end of the academic year at SrijaNeev

Senior students at Neev run their own clubs with support from teachers and experts. It gives the students an opportunity to work with others with common interests and learn from each other in the bargain.

After school staybacks

Beyond the bell, kids may be willing to try new things. This is the best time for the students to create positive relationships, collaborate with different age groups, and foster a sense of accomplishment.

 

Year long

  • Brass Band: Playing a musical instrument is a great and fulfilling hobby, but it gets even better if it's played along with other musicians. The practice for the School Brass Band for students across Grades 4 and 12 is conducted twice a week for the PYP and once a week for the MYP students. The Brass band Has a variety of instruments
    > percussion (bass drum tenor drum side drum, cymbals )
    > Woodwind (alto Saxophone, tenor saxophone, clarinet)
    > Brass Wind (Trombone, cornet, trumpet, beugle, Euphonium, flugelhorn)
  • Choir: When you sing together, what you really get is the real gift of joyful human connections. Neev Choir is a cohesive group consisting of students across Grades 4 and 12 who come together twice a week. Regular choir members report that learning new songs is cognitively stimulating, helps their memory, and strengthens the feeling of togetherness.

 

Short term

  • LEGO Robotics:The LEGO Designers program is designed to make sure children start from the Basic foundations of building robots, learn about mechanisms and move on to building their own creatives. This course is the first step to learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Concepts through hands-on building and real-world examples.
  • Coding:Python’s syntax is concise and easily readable by humans. As beginners, kids will quickly pick up the basics of software programming concepts - by Robolectro.
