IT Executive - Technical Support

Communication skills:- Communication skills are essential.You may be required to communicate with teaching staff, coworkers and other professionals in the workplace. You may also be required to communicate technical information about software and hardware.

Technical knowledge:Technical knowledge is the ability to understand and apply the principles of technology. You may be required to explain the inner workings of technology to others.

Problem-solving skills:Problem-solving skills are essential for application support.They often troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions to problems that arise during the application process.

  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems.
  • Talk to teachers or school staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Maintain fixed asset record of the IT Resources , software resources/licenses.
  • IT inventory. Provide/ issue / assign devices to new staff and collect the devices & accessories from departing/ resigning staff. Maintain proper inventory records.
  • Audio/ Video support (including TV’s, Projectors, Cables,)
  • IT Support requires for Exams & Events
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential for adoption within the organization.
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect against cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to meet school needs.
  • Identify and engage with external vendors and service providers to support IT initiatives.
