Job Summary: 

We are seeking a qualified and skilled Technical Assistant to support the digital and logistical needs of NTEN. The ideal candidate will have experience with Canva LMS (Learning Management) design and maintenance, Adobe Photoshop, the Microsoft Suite, and Google Tools. Technical assistant is responsible for design, maintenance and ensuring timely availability of the digital and print learning materials and resources alongside managing communication with candidates enrolling for courses launched by NTEN.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Maintenance:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Canva Learning Management System (LMS) as per the needs and requirements of NTEN courses.
  • Create and manage visual content using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ensure all digital resources are updated and aligned with NTEN's standards.

 Resource Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of learning resources developed and used by NTEN.
  • Ensure timely availability of both digital and printed resources for Professional Development (PD) sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess and fulfill resource needs.

 LMS and Candidate Management:

  • Ensure onboarding of selected candidates to NTEN’s LMS.
  • Maintain and manage communication channels with candidates, ensuring a smooth admission and onboarding process. 
  • Track and monitor assignment submissions and provide support as needed.

 Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues related to the LMS, digital tools, and resources.
  • Ensure all Microsoft Suite applications, Google Tools (Classrooms, Sites, Docs, Sheets), and other related systems are functioning efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Represent the school at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Seek opportunities for media coverage and press releases to highlight the school's achievements, programs, and events.

Experience:

  • Proven experience with Canva LMS design and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise in Google Tools (Classrooms, Sites, Docs, Sheets).

Other:

  • Familiarity with database management and resource tracking.
