Manager - Human Resource

Job Summary

The Manager must work towards building a culture that is based on fair compensation and benefits practice. As a senior member in the team, the manager may require to mentor team members and lead by example.

Main Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the complete Recruitment Process from sourcing to onboarding and ensuring process compliance by other team members including documentation and data capture.
  • Evaluate the existing profile for all positions and refining the search criteria.
  • Identify right sources for various positions and developing a strong pipeline
  • Work with the Media and Communications team on branding and marketing strategy on various platforms and media.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with consultants, colleges and universities
  • Set up and practice strong and consistent interview process.
  • Conduct interviews for senior positions – middle and top leadership.
  • Ensure maintenance of a Recruitment database that generates market intelligence on salaries and benefits.
  • Maintain a database that tracks the movement of senior candidates (critical positions) in the industry.

Talent Enablement

  • Support Academic leaders in the process of job evaluation and create job descriptions in line with all roles in the organization.
  • Manage HR budgets – forecasting and adherence.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Obtain market data on salaries and benefits. Analyse and benchmark salaries.
  • Overall responsibility for annual salary reviews – letter preparation, letter collection and documentation of letters.
  • Maintain information of fee subsidy scheme for staff
  • Salary processing and security of salary data on all systems.

Exits

  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure a smooth relieving for staff
  • Maintain data and reports post exit interviews and share it with the Programme Heads
